End of term: Police urges schools to observe safety of learners

"As announced by the education ministry on the closing of term three for holidays on 25th Nov 2022, this is a reminder to all school administrators to ensure that all school vans are in a good condition as they transport children back home for holidays," Farid Nampiima the Public Relations Officer, Uganda Traffic Police said.

Check Points: Police to arrest travellers without Covid19 vaccination cards

In a bid to contain the spread of the Covid19, the Traffic Police announced Tuesday that they are going to start enforcing check points to monitor and arrest individuals defying the Standard Operating Procedures including passengers and drivers who do not possess vaccination cards.
