The management of St. Mary’s College Rushoroza in Kabale District has suspended 825 male students of senior four, five, and six classes following a fierce inter-class fight at the school last Friday.
It is alleged that at around 10pm, a violent fight erupted at the school premises after senior Four students attacked their counterparts in senior six battling for space to watch television despite the candidate classes having their own television sets installed in their respective rooms.
It’s reported that the trouble began when a senior five student stormed the television room for candidates after theirs developed a mechanical fault.
This did not age well for the candidate class students who persisted they could not watch television in the same room with their ‘juniors’, thus overpowering the senior five students and had them chased out.
