Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja has called on all public sector actors to work towards ensuring progress and development in the country.
Nabbanja made the remarks as she graced the event to commemorate the 12th Africa Public Service Day that was held on Friday at the Kololo Independence Grounds.
The Africa Public Service Day (APSD) is an important strategic event on the African Union Calendar and a special day for Public Servants and Public Service Organisations. It is celebrated across the African Continent by African Union Member States on 23rd June annually.
This year’s service day was held under the theme, ‘The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will require a fit-for-purpose African Public Administration to Succeed.
As part of the activities that earmarked the day, several departments under the PS Ministry organized exhibitions, showcasing an array of innovative solutions aimed at creating a sustainable economy.
