Jonah Luyinda, a 14 year old boy is currently fighting for his life at Kiruddu Hospital after he reportedly suffered adverse effects including multi organ failure after he was injected with the Covid19 jab.
Luyinda, a student of St Martin Secondary School, Jjanya Mpigi was vaccinated in March this year when a team of officials from the ministry of Health visited their school.
According to his elder brother, Jasper Nsubuga who explains in disbelief says Luyinda’s health deteriorated days after he had been vaccinated.
“Upon getting the information that Jonah is not fine, we immediately made a call at his school and we were assured that he was fine but later on his condition worsened. His situation kept on worsening each day. His whole body was swollen,” said Nsubuga.
Nsubuga added at this time, they could not wait any longer, they rushed Luyinda to a health facility which undertook several reviews on him including scans.
While here, the doctors discovered that he (Luyinda) had multi organ failure and that they could not handle his case.
“Doctors told us that they could not handle his health situation anymore. We went to Rubaga Hospital and it was also discovered that most of Jonah’s body parts were badly affected including the lungs, kidneys, heart and brain,” Nsubuga revealed.
Meanwhile, amidst all these claims, the health Ministry has said they have embarked on investigations into the matter.
“Working with the National Drug Authority, we are investigating this and results will be shared with the public as the child receives treatment at Kiruddu National Referral Hospital,” a statement from the ministry read.
This however, comes at a time when the same ministry earlier on issued a warning to schools against vaccinating children saying that this can only be considered once consented by parents.
In a statement, Dr. Henry Mwebesa the Director General Health Services said discussions are still ongoing with all stakeholders including parents on how to go about with the situation.
“The Ministry would like to reiterate that no child will be vaccinated against Covid19 against their parent, guardian or caretaker’s consent. This will be upheld during the vaccination of children,” Mwebesa warned.
